    Ladies and gentlemen,
    we welcome you at the Royal Estate of Vieneskel, for the traditional Grand Ball, made to honor the eighteenth birthday of His Imperial and Royal Highness, Prince Sigismund Conrad Van Vinkel.
    In this beautiful palace, everyone is invited to join for an evening of feast, banquest, elegance and aristocratic finesse.


    Rules

    Yes, finally the Grand Ball is beginning!
    The rules for participating are very simple: have fun!
    Although, in theory, the Grand Ball lasts for three days, we will roleplay only the central evening, the most interesting moment.
    Every real-life week will correspond to three hours in the roleplay. The entire Ball will have three phases, for a total of nine hours (and three weeks).
    The Royal Hunt will begin at the end of the Ball. Its rules will be announced at the proper moment.
    Also here we will have a brief registration period: if you wish to participate, please list here the names of your representatives and possibly their roles and/or titles. Also, please specify if you will participate to the Ball, to the Hunt or both.
    The registration period will end in two days.
    So, what are you waiting for?

    Several black BMW's and two limousines approach the great palace of Veineskel from the distance, the two cars in the front of the convoy are definetely speeding while approaching the palace, on the front of their hoods small Duresian flags are visible moving in the wind. The two front cars slow down while the convoy intercepts them, they're now all in a perfect line driving on the property of the palace slowly parking up by the great fontains

    Men in black suits quickly exit the two front cars and the one on the back, looking around one of them gives a signal to the drivers of both limousines, slowly the doors of the both vehicles open..

    The first person to exit the front limousine is the Duresian Chancellor Andres Calasineş with his wife. Sven Wersjtain (ambassador to New Tarajan)
    Duke Laurent de Runeştu, Filipe Narişes with their spouses follow after him out of the car and slowly go inside of the palace.

    One of the black suited men goes forward to the second limousine and opens the door, firstly the Grand Duke of Duresia Wilmer Hoensbroek exits the car, then Duke Teoderic von Broeckdorf and Laurentine of Arvyeres, the fiance of Crown Prince Heinrik, in the end the Crown Prince exit the limousine while visibly hitting his head in the roof of the car in the process, swearing harshly in Lyrian he looks around, takes a hold of his fiances hand and slowly walks towards the inside of the palace while the loud laugh of the Grand Duke could be heard all over the place.

    As soon as the guests were inside all of the cars except two left the property, both parked by the side of the fountains and the security started to talk to the Tarajani guards of the property for a while and in the end exiting the property following the others.

    Two white Rolls Royce vehicles slowly approach the Palace of Veineskel. A line of three more white cars follows, and stop behind the two cars at the palace fountains.

    Two women in sleeveless pleated blouson gowns opened the doors of the second Rolls Royce, and guided the Prince René out of the car. René was wearing a matte black suit with embellishments of honors of Arveyres.

    He helped his grandmother, the former ruler, Léopoldine III, out of the car. Followed, getting out on her own is Oriane II, the Queen of Paris, Regent of Arveyres.

    Oriane was wearing a white-lavender dress of beaded chiffon. The three congregated at the top of the entrance stairs, and entered together. All of the cars except one proceeded to leave.

    The cars of Antanares are all black. Four SUVs come before two elegant black Lexus that make their appearance in the gardens, followed from another series of four SUVs. The convoy stops at the entrance of the Palace

    Two agents of SAOISE placing near the two Lexus and an elegant woman open the first door, allowing Prince Sebastian Valerian Higencourt to get off from the car. His Highness helps the Countess and proceed with her to the entrance of the palace. He wears a uniform with the symbol of Antanares and a series of medals, she a long green dress semi-transparent near the legs and the arms.
    They are followed from the other two nobles of Antanares, the Baroness Belvento and the Baron Butler.
    With the escort of two agents and while the convoy starts again and disappear from the entrance, the four enter in the palace.

    Five black Mercedes-Benzes slowly approach the entrance of the Palace. The glide slowly to a halt

    Two men, dressed in tailored black suits, open the doors to the center car. Emperor Augustus IV steps out, clad in an impeccably tailored tailcoat with subtle flourishes to denote his Imperial status. He helps his wife, the Mater Matriae Aurelia, who wears a white evening gown with fur scarf and gloves, from the vehicle.

    Simultaneously, four men, two for each car, open the doors for the remaining two vehicles. From one outsteps Consul Robledo, also impeccably dressed, and his spouse. From the car also steps the Eurasian Ambassador to New Tarajan, Claudius Caudex.

    From the final car steps the Magnus Princeps Flavius Valerius Eurasius, Augustus' brother, and the other Patricians. Flavius wears a dark black tailcoat with no adornments, and aids his wife from the vehicle before meeting his brother and the Consul. They enter the building.

    The lien of cars quickly departs the premises, with the exception of one.

    All the guests are welcomed by a parade of pages, elegantly dressed in the best Tarajani tradition, and soldiers, with their brilliant ceremonial uniforms of the XIX century.
    The Royal Hall is full of pages, serving the other participants to the Ball: lords and ladies from the highest ranks of the Tarajani aristocracy, including all the representatives of the Landsraad; officers from all branches of the military; ministers of the Imperial Council; members of the Royal Diet.
    They are all gathered there, drinking from the crystal glasses the pages offer them from elegantly-decorated silver plates.

    The King, the Queen and the Prince are not yet in the room.
    However, the guests are welcomed by Grand Duke Conrad Van Vinkel, cousin of the King and sovereign of Sdudeti-Karabak, Princess Elise Angelique, sister of the King and sovereign of North Ajania and, particularly, by the Prime Minister and Minister of the Imperial House, Count Carl Van Houden, who personally introduces the guests to the other participants.
    In the background, an orchestra now begins to play a soft music from the XVIII century Tarajani repertoire.
    The Great Ball is finally beginning.
