The Royal House in Aloia for funerals and coronation of new Queen
Astana.
New Tarajan welcomes "with deep sorrow" the news of the death of King Gustav II of Aloia.
These are the words used by King Friederick Wilhelm and Queen Beatrice in their joint communiquè. The sovereigns stated "the solidarity of New Tarajan for their Aloian friends" and, particularly, "for the Aloian Royal Family, ancient and solid friends of our country and our House."
"However, in such a time of sorrow, the best thing is to do is to look forward: and in this sense, we wish to congratulate with Queen Victoria for becoming sovereign of Aloia. We are sure that her reign will be prosperous, and that she will represent the best legacy and memory of her predecessor."
The whole House Van Vinkel (including Crown Prince Sigismund, Grand Duke Conrad and Princess Elise Angelique) will fly to Aloia to personally attend the funeral of King Gustav and the coronation ceremony, although King Friederick and Queen Beatrice will not have much time to spend in the country, since they intend to come back in New Tarajan as soon as possible to keep helping Astana authorities and population recovering from the effects of the devastating terrorist attacks of the last week.
It has not been yet confirmed what the Royal House will submit as a coronation gift to Queen Victoria. However, something big is to be expected, as due recognition of the strong ties which links the two countries and monarchies since centuries.
Meanwhile, the Tarajani Government, represented by Prime Minister Count Carl Van Houden (who will also fly to Aloia soon), expressed its "deepest concerns" over the demonstrations erupted in Kaevi after the news of the death of King Gustav reached the country.
"It's honestly disgusting to see people expressing their joy for the death of a human being. Particularly if that human being was in life a good man, and the representative of a respected country." the Prime Minister said, although adding that "It is the belief of the majority in my government that these demonstration are the work of few groups of fanatics, and that they do not represent the feelings of the majority of the Kaevian people, with whom we maintain cordial relations in every field. This is the opinion of His Majesty the King as well."
A statement surely made in order to reassure both Kaevian and Tarajanis that there will be no repercussions: at first, it was feared in some circles that the news of clearly anti-monarchic demonstrations, in a time of deep pain for a country which just lived its worst terrorist attack in decades, could have easily triggered and overreaction in both the common people and the government, with serious consequences for the incresingly strong economic ties between Kaevi and New Tarajan.
Although firms in their condemnation of the demonstrations, however, the words of the Prime Minister seem to dissipate such a fear.
Together with sorrow, however, also comes joy: the news of Eurasian authorities having captured Queen Leo has been welcomed in the Kingdom as a sort of national victory.
"This is a moment of joy for us" affirmed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marquis Adrian Van Baltasar "The person responsible for the death of so many innocents now faces justice" he said "And we will do everything in our power, together with our friends and allies, to make sure that she will pay for her crimes."
King Friederick personally sent a telegram of congratulations to Eurasia for their accomplishment, but the Tarajani government didn't forget that "this goal has been achieved also thanks to unparalleled cooperation among intelligence agencies in the world.", a clear reference to the Joint Task Force made by OMNI in order to capture the Queen.
"This is not only an Eurasian victory, but a world victory." Van Baltasar concluded, also adding that Tarajani experts will be sent to Eurasia to assist in the eventuality of a second process against the Queen.
