Well, there're still mistakes, I fear: the Grand Duchy of Bakran never substituted the Ajanic Empire....nor the Ajans never defeated the Antanaresians (it happened quiet the contrary).

Circa 2000 B.C. The City of Pars is flourishing, a cultural and economical hotspot.

Circa 1500 B.C. The Empire of Pars, a collectivity of Clans, is established.

Circa 70 C.E. The Electranist faith is slowly being replaced by the Christian faith in Pars.

112 C.E. The Clan of Ithell declares a state of turmoil in the Empire, and seeks to kill all of those who do not follow Electranism. The Clan Ithell was overthrown and dismantled by the seven other clans.

610-632 C.E. Mohamed establishes the religion of Islam through revelation in Angora, begins the hijra to Sancesa. The Caliphate of Angora is established in the north of modern Arveyres.

702-743 C.E. The Warring States period begins between the various small monarchies in and around the extent of the Caliphate of Angora.

985 C.E. The Kingdoms are unified under one crown in Angora. The first Empress of Angora, Virgo of the House of Pahlavi, is crowned in the cities of Alba, Raven, Paris, and finally Angora.

1478-1502 C.E. The Wars of Religion begin, ending with the Arveyran (Paris) monarchy becoming the ruling monarchy, disestablishing the four other monarchies.

1785 C.E. Arveyres becomes a part of the Empire of New Tarajan.

This is all I have for now, will be adding more later

    NZ HISTORY

1766 : New Zealand founded by tarajani explorers
1777 : NZ becomes a domain of the Tarajani Empire
1778-1783 : NZ experiences large growth in settlers, many escaping the Tarajani-Ashar war. Population grows exponentially, hitting 4 Million in December 1783. Borders expand rapidly.
1784 : Tarajani forces begin to conscript NZ men into the armed forces to fight the Ashars. Compulsory military service for all unmarried men aged 16-24. Ballot for all other men up to age 40.
1784-1790 : New Zealand suffers heavy losses in conflict. Growing unrest as population becomes weary of Tarajani rule. Many having lost loved ones to the conflict
1790-1824 : Compulsory military service remains in place. Though not many conscripted soldiers are sent to war. Still, population is not pleased with the policy.
1825 : NZ Men are once again conscripted into combat. Once again to fight for the king against the Ashari forces. People grow extremely angry. A few protests sprout up around the nation. Tarajani sentiment rapidly declines.
1827 : Rebel group marches down the Great South Road and sets fire to the Governors House. Red guards respond immediately, shutting down the rebellion and killing/imprisoning those involved.
1827-1829 : Republican support spikes up, Governor assassinated, and the newly appointed replacement cuts back on conscription, hoping to appease the people. The war draws to an end, but public opinion remains at an all time low.
1830 : In an effort to appease the people, the Governor inaugurates the first NZ Parliament, and changes his role to superintendent. The sense of false sovereignty is enough to calm the majority.
1833 : Superintendent overrides the Parliament and hikes up taxes. Government budget is reallocated, and large quantities of money go to bailing out the OHC. Public sentiment takes a sharp turn for the worst.
1853 : Expansion comes to an end and NZ reaches it's current borders. Republicans attempt another uprising, this time the Redguards are forced into retreat, but reinforcements from the Tarajani Navy send the Republicans into hiding.
1854 : NZ men are once more forced into service in the Tarjani forces, this time to fight Atanares.
1858 : Republican forces take to the streets once more. Superintended is captured and held hostage. Parliament declares a coup and threatens to fight against Tarajan, alongside Antanares if it's demands aren't met. Tarajani delegation arrives in NZ, and negotiations begin. It is agreed that NZ will gain self governance if it helps Tarajan defeat Antanares.
1861 : The first ever NZ Government comes into session after Antanares is defeated. Nation becomes a constitutional monarchy and a Prime Minister is elected.
1899 : Unrest in New Tarajan causes economic ripples that are felt in NZ. However, government remains faithful, and armed forces contribute to any and all Tarajani war efforts. Prime Minister famously proclaims "Where she goes, we go!"
1919 : Tarajani civil war breaks out. This was the final push, and the global economy comes crashing down, marking the start of the first Great Depression. NZ soon faces large budget cuts, and many are forced into poverty. Nation grows closer to Eurasia, as civilians begin admiring their socialist neighbor, who has managed to maintain a decent standard of living.
1920 : The Tarajani monarchy is abolished and forced into hiding. Following encouragement from Eurasia, the NZ parliament pushes forward a referendum to ditch the monarchy. The referendum passes with flying colors, and the Constitutional-Monarchy is abolished, the Social Democracy is formed from the ashes, sharing almost identical economic policies to Eurasia.
1922-1950 : On the back on strong leadership, solid economic policies, and strong consumer confidence, the NZ economy skyrockets, and citizens hail the socialist policies as their savior. Relations with Eurasia grow rapidly, and public admiration for their socialist neighbor, and in some ways mentor, increased tenfold.
1950-1989 : Commonly referred to as the Socialist glory days, the NZ populous enjoys a very high standard of living, and the heavily regulated industry thrives. A baby boom takes place, and population finally crosses the 300 million mark in July 1989. However, the Socialist dream would soon start to fade.
1990-2000 : Economy remains strong but growth slows down. The formation of SECURS only worsened this, and the formation of the reciprocal UPS had little effect on the economic situation. Many begin to question the socialist mantra, and the Socialist Party dissolves into the Labour Party, which promises to transition the economy towards the capitalist model.
2001 : The long standing Holden Motor Corporation, the backbone of the nations economy, is forced to shut down and reform into the Chrysler Group, citing crippling bureaucracy as it's reason. While not much is lost, many see this as the loss of a national icon, and it is the final nail in the Socialist coffin.
2003 : The right wing Conservative Party, who had just won it's largest vote in history, shuts down the government, refusing to accept the Labour budget and placing Parliament in gridlock. The economy collapses, and the world is put in shock, as economic calamity ensues for all major markets with links to the Social Democracy, a pillar of the global economy. NZ is dropped from the Titan class, and the Labour party fast tracks it's reforms, turning the nation capitalist overnight, cutting taxes in half.
2004-2010 : Reforms are a large success. Conservatives are voted out of parliament completely, and Labour wins with outright majority. Economy thrives, and the nation is once more a member of the Titan Class in 2007, and overtakes it's pre-collapse GDP in 2009.  Government remains left wing, and welfare remains a key issue, but large scale deregulation has allowed the private sector to thrive. The Chrysler Group also reaps the benefits, and turns extremely large profits for the government, it's market share growing uncontrollably. Soon the public sector only accounts for 15% of the GDP, a long way down from it's 60% peak. Economy is extremely large and trumps many of it's competitors. Nation signs trade deals with many nations, and co-operates extensively with New Tarajan and Antanares, whilst also contributing heavily to the UPS.

Well, I'm sorry to bother you....but there're still problems with the Tarajani timeline:

    1) There's never been a war between Antanares (it didn't exist at the time) and the Ajanic Empire.

    2) The Ajanic Empire collapses in 487 (so well before the foundation of the Grand Duchy of Bakran).

    3) I don't know what you are meaning by saying that Antanares caused the fall of Tarajani aristocracy.

    4) The Ajans were the defeated, not the winners, in the conflict with the Antanaresian (now Tarajani) lords. The Kingdom of Tarajan is founded by such lords of Antanaresian origin.

    Thank you very much! Smile

(only a small note: the Grand Duchy of Bakran is founded in 1505, and the final victory of the lords against the Ajans took place in 1544. The Kingdom has been founded only fifty years after, in 1595...in the middle there was a period called "Feudal Anarchy").

Also, if someone is interested, we could further expand the period of the Liberal Revolution of 1789 (if you can, Atenosia, add it...it could be a good ground for others to develop it) and the Idillian Wars.

Well, of course we should take inspiration by the French Revolution and the real-life Liberal Revolutions of the XIX century.

    So, here's a "draft":

1st Stage = The Liberal Revolution explodes in the Kingdom of Tarajan. I will follow, in its future description, a bit of the path taken by the French Revolution (the Diet, aka the Etats Generales, proclaiming themselves as the new legitimate legislative body, for example). Although I still have to design the details, I can say since now that in this stage (circa from 1789 to 1791), the Diet takes the power, against the Landsraad, and initially also against the King. Then the King changes side, and allies himself with the new Constitutional Assembly, creating the ground for its victory against the Landsraad forces in the Battle of Horatstadt. Thus, Tarajan becomes a constitutional, liberal monarchy (introduction of the figure of the Prime Minister), with the King relegated to a secondary role with the rise to power of the Council of Citizens, lead by Rudolf De Ruyter.
In this stage, there will be the most radical reforms: abolition of religion (Jahanism, in our case) and of the divine right to govern of the monarch, elimination of feudality, introduction of public education, and so on.

2n Stage = While the first stage will be preminently Tarajani-centered, the second one is the opposite. I was thinking that the Revolution and the rise of the liberal regime could trigger a series of wars (aka the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars). I'm not yet sure about the casus belli which would led to them (and about who attacks who), so we can work on it, although, as I wrote in the timeline, a first idea could be that the traders (as members of the bourgeoisie now at the government) would make pressure to attack Antanares in order to protect their interests against the growing economic (and colonial) power of Antanaresian trade companies in the Jikillian Sea (the lake south of New Tarajan, on the map).
Also, in this stage we could also insert a spread of the liberal ideas, and consequent changes of regime, in the rest of the world.
Surely, there will be attempts (by exiled aristocrats and supporters of the old regime) to reverse the situation in Tarajan (and in the other countries affected, eventually).

3rd Stage = At the end (circa 1810), the situation takes a wrong direction for Tarajan, and the liberal regime is forced to leave to the Atanean Empire the Sdudeti-Karabak and North Ajania, and the Jikillian Sea to Antanares, while gaining at the same time almost every Antanaresian colony.
De Ruyter and the Council of Citizens would not survive to the defeat (I'm still undecided about their exact fate), and the Landsraad would take advantage of the weakness of the liberals to restore a balance. This will not mark, however, the end of liberalism: since the defeat is only partial, and the new King Friederick Wilhelm I is a supporter of liberalism (and also many Noble Houses are becoming supporters of it), Tarajan will keep its liberal government, although in a more moderate attitude (much like England after the Glorious Revolution, or France after 1830).
This stage opens various possibilities: we could decide what happen in other countries (both winners or loosers) and to their (eventual) liberal regimes, and to the new ideas which have been spreading during this period.
Also, we could work on a sort of Congress of Wien, which would be the place where the peace treaties were signed, and the new political situation was drawn.

Perhaps Eurasia was backing one of the sides?

This could be a good idea.

However, since I don't know very much about your country's history, I have no idea about where exactly Eurasia could be in the conflict.

However, I believe it would be better to design, first of all, the alliances (with their reasons-of-being) and the casus belli of the various wars...this way, it would be far more easy to understand where we could put Eurasia Smile

I have an idea to integrate the history of Europe, without changing that too much, with the history of the region. In fact my country is an evolution of the European Union integration process, and has its cultural roots in the history of the Continent. I warn you,it might seem a bit extreme. Before you start,to have clear ideas, you must know that I consider the European Continent as a further territory belonging to my nation, place outside the Regional map (however, for reasons of logic,I do not use it in international rp,but only in internal ones).

    Phase 1: The Beginnings,Roman Empire
I start this story with the era of the Roman Empire, whose history would not be affected much by the real version. In the context of Roman expansionism, could fit the first contacts among the European culture and peoples or nations then present in the Region. So we talk about economic contacts and trade, but also of wars: on this point we could work a lot. The area where now stands my country (New Europe) may have been the first point conquered by the Romans, where their dominance was more rooted. It may have been the springboard for other invasions,or to trade routes. As already mentioned,we can work hard on this.

Phase 2: Middle Ages,"The Great Cooling"
The end of the Roman Empire,as well as being driven by internal economic and social events, was also caused by the massive barbarian invasions: some "barbarian peoples" may have come from the territories of the Region. At this point begins the Middle Ages: here the events are not much different from those that actually happened, and,in this period of time,I had thought of a cooling of relations between the European Continent and the nations of the Region. The area of New Europe might fall, after the collapse of the Empire,in a long period of anarchy, which is followed by the formation of many small states, influenced by the various nations of the Region: also here we have a very large space to work.

Phase 3: Modern Age,"Colonialism and Historic Alliances"
With the formation of the great national states in Europe, contacts with the Region come back on. The great European monarchies may have colonized different areas in the region (in this way we could recreate the period of colonialism and all related events),or may even have signed historical alliances with the nations of the Region itself. So we could have a kind of "interference" of the single European monarchies in history that you have developed,as the diplomatic relations. The real history of Europe, however,is not very different from the real one. Even here in short,we have a lot of space to develop the story. The area of New Europe cuold be colonized and could then be divided between the various European powers.

Phase 4: Contemporary Age,"Revolution,Napoleonic Wars and Great European War"
The largest absolute monarchy falls, breaks the French Revolution, which is then followed by the Napoleonic Wars. So far, even with the presence of the nations of the Region, the events should not deviate too much from the real version. At this point I needed a key event that would speed the process of European integration, anticipating more than a century. A premise that is,to the subsequent unification: and I found it.

Towards the beginning of 1800,the war between Napoleon and the Coalition forces had devastated Europe, and greatly weakened both sides. At this point, taking advantage of the situation, some countries of the Region (even all of them) created an alliance in order to invade and conquer Europe and its colonies in the Region itself. A real world war,the "Great European War". At this point, the evolution can be manifold. Or Napoleon and Coalition forces may have worked together to defend Europe. Or the war could be seen as a clash between three factions: Napoleon, the Coalition and the nations of the Region.

In any case,at the end of the war,Napoleon was defeated and and starts the period of the Restoration. Europe has been successfully defended at the cost of unimaginable devastation and loss. Moreover all the colonies (excluding New Europe) have been lost. Although victorious, the European monarchies are very weak. The defeat for the nations of the region could have caused extreme consequences,on the international and domestic level: we have much to work on this.

Phase 5: The End,"Europe finally united"
The Restoration seemed to hold for a few years, but now the liberal feeling was deeply rooted in the European society. The economy of national monarchies had collapsed, their military forces were exhausted. Thus, violent liberal revolutions broke out everywhere, which led the destruction of absolutist regimes and the establishment of democratic republics. The "Great Spring of Peoples".

The various national republics started more and more economic and diplomatic relations,to try to rebuild Europe, but it was not enough. So,around 1850,with a great Continental Congress,it was decided the creation of a United States of Europe,in form of liberal democratic federal Repubblic. This was followed by a period of great technological and scientific development,a growing industrialization and a great economic growth. Europe returned to appear on the Region as a great economic and military power, finally united.

So,internally, industrialization was accompanied by the growth of large social problems: after the formation of trade unions and mass parties, great worker and student protests led to the affirmation of a new social model. The bourgeois Republic was replaced with the modern European Social Democracy,in early 1900,which continues to this day. In an international context, Europe is faced with the events as unique nation, and the next story I have yet to process it. Even here,we can work a lot.

So,what do you think about this?

Well....I find a bit difficult to integrate it successfully with what we are develping here :/

Eurasia, about your question: unfortunately, I still don't have a clear picture in my mind. Of course, any single country should choose by its own if to side with or against the Liberals. This would depend on their own historical path, so it's not up to me to decide.
The best idea would be to ask to everyone to announce the position of their own countries.

It, however, logically speaking, the speech row. We could try to integrate my story to the history of the Region.

The problem is that a great part of your history would be practically "out of the Region"...well, this is not exactly an obstacle, but it could make your country feel less integrated.
Also, we should explain why our countries developed in such a way, without even get influenced (and influenting) the original European continent...

Hey, I've had a great idea for a twist in our history. Vladimir Lenin was the youngest son and a prince of New Tarajan during the founding stages of New Zealand. However, his relationship with his family was never good, and at age 25 he left New Tarajan to go "rule" the dominion of New-Zealand. Soon he begins to lead the socialist movement and fights for succession, declaring the nation a free land under him, promising sanctuary for all those running from the Aristocratic Tarajani empire. He leads the socialists (as per our previous timeline) and finally forcing the Tarajani forces out of New-Zealand and establishes the sovereign state of New-Zealand. During his 40th birthday tour of the nation, he is assassinated and his killer is never found. Some suspect that it was a Tarajani ploy to murder him as revenge for him betraying his family.

His family then disappears (it is unknown whether they were killed or just went into hiding) and the rest of history continues as it is. Now this ties in to my new RP. Just wait for my news post. It's going to spark up the whole UPS SECURS thing again.

Well, honestly I don't see how this could spark hostilities between UPS and SECURS XD

But the whole thing is interesting (although, I should say that Vladimir and Lenin are not exactly Tarajani names...and that to be 4th in succession, as I read in the news, he should have been a Van Vinkel).

I was just about to say he doesn't appear to be part of the Tarajani aristocracy.

The European continent may have influenced much history of the Region, and individual nations may have influenced much the European history. Wars, invasions, alliances, commercial and cultural contacts,if any nation of the Region will,we will be happy to work out a more detailed history regarding its relationship with Europe. And no,we do not feel any less integrated, after all is our story.

The thing that interests us is to develop well the history of the war between Napoleon, the Coalition and the nations of the Region, since it was precisely that event that has led to the unification of Europe. What interests us is to have a precise event that explains why the United States of Europe exist. At that point,Europe will take part in the story as a single nation, with a stable territory in the Region. So what do you think?
